Going Green Tampa

Bayside Engineering, Tampa's very first Green Business, is committed to sustainability both in the practice of our business and in the design of projects. In keeping with this commitment, Bayide has formed EcoEngineering, a method of operation that affects all the design aspects of our projects. Each project has an "Eco-Charette" as part of it's initial in-house design kick-off meeting. In this charette, an Eco Checklist is used to determine the kinds of sustainable design elements which may benefit the project. This ensures that sustainability is the goal of every project. The client/owner is given their options and advised on cost savings or increases that may result, both in constructon and operation. This gives a project owner key information to decide the level of sustainability that is right for their project.
