Going Green Tampa

Gemstones, wood, bone and other items from the Earth handmade into jewelry and accessory designs by a lifelong naturalist and rockhound. Many of my inspirations come from natural settings, weather patterns and ecosystems. Ever conscious of the fabric in which we are woven together, I incorporate reducing, reusing and recycling into my business as I do in my daily life. Some green practices and materials include: -Recycling copper from old electrical wire -Recycling guitar string ends and other "found" items into beads -Reducing paper and materials needed for shipping and local shows -Solar lighting used for night shows -Working with reputable suppliers to secure items that are accurately and honestly described, and who utilize fair trade arrangements -Using natural botanical dyes for fibers to eliminate the possibility of lead and other toxic chemicals -Supporting local farms and other groups that support our planet
